Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble structures such as frameworks, door frames, and roof trusses.
• Install cabinets, shelves, drywall, and other fixtures.
• Perform painting tasks as needed to finish projects.
• Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with electricians and masons when necessary for integrated projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow... health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions on-site.
• Experience with masonry work is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
