We are seeking a highly organized Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the organization, conservation and restoration of all books in our various libraries and storage facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all books are catalogued and well stored. All books will be managed in inventory software to ensure they are easily located when requested. The role will include the management of 3 warehouses and 2 staff, ensuring items in the warehouses are received, catalogued, packed and organized, and stored in the correct manner.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A degree in Library Sciences, Management or a related field preferred.
• UAE Driver’s license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Librarian or Book conservator
• Book conservation & restoration experience is highly advantageous.

• Collection Management: Strong proficiency in managing extensive collections of books, ensuring their accessibility and preservation.
• Documentation: Manage and maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and paper based. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Book Restoration: Expert knowledge in various restoration techniques, including binding repair, paper treatment, and conservation practices.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for preserving literary heritage are essential.
