Looking to merge leadership with clinical data and Real-World Evidence (RWE) to enhance lives of those with chronic diseases? This global organization seeks a manager for its Real-World Science division, leading epidemiologists, and data scientists.
About The Department
In Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product launch and beyond. We provide medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
The area of Real-World Science is part of Data Science in Development and has presence in Søborg (Denmark), London (UK), and Lexington, MA (USA). The area focuses on insights and causal relationships from real world data (RWD) through advanced statistical methods. We analyse many different data sources to generate evidence to support clinical drug development projects and launched products. You will be managing a team of highly professional, engaged, and motivated data scientists and epidemiologists.
The position
You'll lead a team in RWD, aiding our development programs and stakeholders with evidence and insights from various data sources. Our data comes from in-licensed databases of electronic medical records or health insurance claims, observational studies, and many other sources. Your role includes daily department management, project development, and team oversight, including performance reviews and professional development.
Qualifications
We emphasise accountability and reaching goals through a collaborative effort, thus it is essential that you use your good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results together with others. You enjoy responsibility and complete your assignments proactively and within timelines. Finally, you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
