The position
You will contribute with your in-depth knowledge of Epidemiology and your analytical skills to a team of epidemiologists and data scientists that, together with stakeholders from across the organisation, create actionable evidence from Real-World data. Our data comes from digital health initiatives through partnerships with medical technology companies, in-licensed databases of electronic medical records or health insurance claims, observational studies, and many other sources.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
You will be interacting with many stakeholders – either when communicating epidemiological considerations and results to internal stakeholders or through contact with research organisations, commercial partners and academic institutions involved in analysis of epidemiological data.
If you would like to maintain or develop your programming skills as an epidemiologist, you will be given the opportunity to execute insights and studies in R in collaboration with the department’s data scientists.

About the department
In Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product launch and beyond. We provide medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
The department of Real-World Science is part of Data Science in Development, and has presence in Søborg (Denmark), London (UK), and Lexington, MA (USA). The department focuses on insights and causal relationships from real world data (RWD) through advanced statistical methods. We analyse many different data sources to generate evidence to support clinical drug development projects and launched products. You will be joining a team of highly professional, engaged, and motivated data scientists and epidemiologists.
