Job Summary:
Western Midstream is seeking a SAP Systems Analyst to join the Digital Technology team located at its headquarters in The Woodlands, TX. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic individual to ensure we maximize our recently implemented enterprise resource planning systems. Western Midstream has recently implemented several SAP solutions. This is an opportunity to be on the leading edge of SAP technology and collaborate with the business to deliver effective solutions.
This role is very broad and covers a wide range of disciplines, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. This includes identifying inefficiencies in business process design as well as design and implementation of system enhancements. Effective communication will be critical for success, as you engage with many cross-functional teams including but not limited to DT support, DT leadership, Finance, Supply Chain, Maintenance & operations, Internal Controls and Audit, who can be either locally based or off-shore.
Qualifications:
· 3- 5+ years of experience in SAP and support of Financial, Supply Chain Management or Enterprise Asset Management DT systems
· Strong knowledge in SAP and best practice solutions for SAP implementations and upgrades
· 2+ years of experience in requirements gathering and delivery of technical documentation (RICEF)
· Experience in understanding SAP configuration (IMG) is a plus
· Experience in designing and implementing SAP reporting and analytics solutions such as SAP Business Objects, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere and or BW/4HANA
· Experience in data protection tools and techniques
· Strong problem-solving skills, be self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively, orally and written with both technical and non-technical customers

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for a coverage over a range of disciplines, including working with the business to identify and document opportunities to be implemented in coordination with our system integrators
· Represent business interests in collaboration with Digital Technology in weekly CAB – Change Advisory Board calls
· Identify processes and control weaknesses and recommend improvements in areas including program governance, design validation, data management, training, and testing.
· Assist business users in setting up a new automated testing tool for SAP
· Become an SME on new SAP technology such as Signavio
· Active participation in SOX testing of all financially relevant systems, beyond SAP
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field.
Travel Requirements:
Travel will be required up to 5%.
Work Schedule:
This position follows a hybrid schedule working in the office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
