GE Aerospace HR – 12 Month Placement, Prestwick (Scotland)

Summary 

In the 12-month Human Resources (HR) Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations and engagement.

In the 12-month Human Resources (HR) Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations and engagement.  

As the HR Placement Student, you will support various HR initiatives across the GE Caledonian (Prestwick) employee populations, spanning learning and development, recruitment, employee lifecycle, employee relations and total rewards with key focus on the following tasks:

• Participate in departmental projects and initiatives.
• Participate in business related projects.
• Coordinate placement student programme.
• Notetaking - investigations, disciplinary and grievance.
• Support Respectful Workplace training programme.
• HR Statistics to support KPI reporting.
• Absence management programme.
• General communication.

You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Currently studying or recently achieved a HR/Business/Psychology bachelor’s or master’s degree
• On course or achieved a 2:1 degree

Useful Information
 

• All placements are available to students and recent graduates who can start a placement between June to August 2024, for a duration of 12 months.
• Application deadline is 29th February 2024. However, we review applications on a rolling basis and encourage you to apply ASAP. Vacancies will close once filled.
• The selection stages include online assessments with video interview and a final round interview.
